We had to travel 2ooo+ miles to visit with people who only live a couple miles away from us.

One of our favorite parts of our trip to Kauai was visiting some of our friends from the OC who now live in Kauai. Above is a picture with Danny & Tess.
Our friends Jeremy, Julie, & Ani are owners of a popular coffee shop called Small Town Coffee. They have live music almost every night. Ani is very humble about being voted the best barista in Hawii. Check out her art in the bottom picture.

Micah has turned 1. It is hard to believe 12 months have gone by. His big accomplishment lately is learning to walk . He is walking all over the place now. This is a picture of some of his first steps. He got such cheers from us that now when he walks in public places, he gives people this look that say's "check me out I'm walking!"
